Political sea change is happening in the state of Texas and the wheels for that were set in motion almost 9 years ago when members of the Madison Project team played active roles in helping identify and recruit candidates to run for office, from city council to United States Congress. We have watched as our labors have come to fruition this year with the retirement of RINO Speaker of the Texas House Joe Strauss and his lieutenants announce their retirements due to the election of our training candidates starting in 2010 to 2016. It’s from our early involvement here in the state of Texas that we had the chance to train Jason Wright to run for office. A very successful businessman, Jason has handled millions of dollars in real estate and private equity deals over the years. After training him to run for office, Jason successfully sought and won a seat on the Tyler, TX city council, resigning from the council to become the East Texas coordinator for Senator Ted Cruz. Much like Chip Roy running in CD-21 here in Texas, we have known Jason well for the past 9 years. He is the prototypical Madison Project candidate, a full spectrum conservative who we can confidently say become a leader in Washington, DC when he is elected. Because of that we can without hesitation endorse him in his run for Congress.
